Life Goal/Motto:  Always do your best.  If you do your best, you have nothing to regret.
Defining Moment:  SHIFT—Coming to accept her place as a Shifter (lizard scene.)

Leah is complicated and simple.  She is simultaneously dark and light, trendy and unique.  As jealous as she’s always been of her sister’s looks and popularity (though she’d never use the word jealous,) she’s always knowm that none of that popular, trendy, flash-in-the-pan stuff is for her.  She likes the things she likes because she likes them.  (Her and Drake are similar in that way.) I very much admire Leah for being her own person.  She is kindhearted, with a propensity for snark, but even her sarcasm is rarely meant with ill-will.  She is very smart–more so than she thinks or recognizes she is–but her smarts sometimes means she thinks too much, instead of letting life flow over her.  She is a strange amalgum of logic and emotion which reflects in her reactions, then reflection on those reactions.  This becomes more clear as the series progresses and Leah is faced with tougher and tougher challenges.
